Anthony began his online studies in 2020 with the University of Southern Queensland. From the outset of his Engineering degree, he has received support from Griffith City Council through a trainee program, which continues to bolster his academic journey. Anthony’s passion for engineering was evident during his school years, where he excelled in subjects relating to mathematics and physics. Beyond the classroom, he also actively participated in numerous STEM-related extracurricular activities, further fueling his interest in the field.

To stay on top of his demanding studies, Anthony is a regular at the Country Universities Centre Western Riverina. He uses the Centre as a dedicated study hub to smash out assignments and projects, benefitting from the quiet study spaces, reliable high-speed Wi-Fi, and fully equipped tutorial rooms. The supportive environment allows him to focus on coursework, troubleshoot challenging concepts, and collaborate with fellow students.

Since joining Griffith City Council, Anthony has also engaged with the Grow Our Own program. This initiative has enabled him to engage with students through widening participation activities like the Riverina Science and Engineering Challenge, where he shares his passion for STEM and inspires young minds to pursue engineering pathways.
