So, I chose to study the Doctor of Medicine because [music] I was obsessed with all things anatomy and the inner workings of the human body. And I found as I’ve progressed through my degree that I really love working with humans. I love that real connection. I love being able to make a real difference in people’s lives. full-time clinical placement. My time at uni looks a little different to everybody else’s time at university. I have to travel between a lot of different towns and a lot of different hospitals across the state. In doing so, I’ve been fortunate enough to go to a lot of different towns that have a country university center, each being able to provide a a beautiful space for me to come and study and collaborate with my peers. I’ve been in Griffith. I’ve been able to undertake my placements at the hospital and then come over to the CUC where I can study with other medical students, other like-minded healthcare students and get support from the academic advisers and Centre Manager.
