Teagan has always been a performer, and movement, sport and exercise have shaped who she is for as long as she can remember. Studying Exercise and Sports Science was a natural progression from that lifelong passion, and she is now pursuing a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science with Charles Sturt University, studying with the support of CUC Western Riverina in Griffith.

The opportunity to study close to home has been significant for Teagan. As she puts it, “We don’t have a university here at all, and so having the opportunity to study is provided by these services.” She has drawn on everything the Centre offers, from dedicated learning support to advisers who understand how to help students achieve their best.

Her ambitions are clear. Teagan hopes to become a clinical exercise physiologist and, in time, to work alongside elite and Olympic athletes at institutions such as the Australian Institute of Sport. For a student whose journey began with a simple love of movement, it is a goal that suits her well.
